    Application
For cleaning all types of paved surfaces, both absorbent and dense paving units: Dilute the NCC Grime Remover, as supplied, by 1:10 parts by volume with warm water and stir, then immediately apply the solution across the dirty paved surfaces. A sturdy standard-type of floor mop is usually the easiest and best for this. Allow the material to work for a few minutes (5 to 10 mins.), keeping the surfaces wet during this time with more of the solution as necessary, do not allow it to dry out. Then remove the dirt with the same mop and clean water, finally rinse with more clean water.

For severe areas of staining, you can reduce the dilution and increase the concentration of the solution as far as 1 to 3 with warm water. This will usually shift most dirt and grime from paved surfaces! Always apply liberally, on larger areas it can be applied by rollers or low-pressure garden sprayer, again keep the surfaces wet whilst the solution works. For stubborn areas it can be helpful to agitate the material with a stiff brush working the solution into the surface. Repeat as and where necessary, and finally remove / sponge / mop-up and thoroughly rinse the surfaces with clean water.

In extremely severe cases the NCC Grime Remover can be used undiluted, and the surface can also be agitated with mechanical scrubbers if required. This is useful and sometimes necessary to include as part of the cleaning regime for good hygiene around food retail and commercial facilities, where surface sealing once cleaned, would obviously also be a good idea.

Always give surfaces a final rinse with clean water to ensure removal of any residue.

Important note: We recommend that any and all paving cleaners are first tested on an inconspicuous area before undertaking the overall cleaning application. Additionally, with any cleaning products in your garden, it is important to also mask and protect any adjacent painted surfaces, untreated wood or any other sensitive areas, and your planting. Rinse off any spillages or over-spray immediately.
